How often do you service my property per your Business Policies?
It is our business policy to accommodate your schedule as best as we can. Most of our customers prefer service once a week. We also offer service schedules that include one-time-only, twice a week, and every two weeks. If you are having a special event, let us know and we will schedule around that date or set up an extra visit.
Is there an agreement? How can I cancel / suspend my service?
Yes, there is a month-to-month agreement. For insurance purposes, we need a signed service agreement giving us permission to be on your property. However, if you need to suspend/cancel the service, simply click Contact Us or mail a written notification and we will gladly accommodate you.
How do I pay you?
Upon completion of your initial service call, we require that you pay for your first month of service in advance. We will email you an invoice on the 20th of each month. Payments are due before the 1st of every month. There is a $10 late fee for payments made after the 1st. Accounts not paid by the 5th of the month will not be serviced until the payment is made. We prefer you to pay by check, however, our service workers will accept cash and issue you a receipt.
What are your Hours of Operation? What about Holidays?
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm
If you call or email after hours or on the weekend, we will return all calls and emails on Monday after 9:00am
We are sorry we do not service yards on major holidays. When a holiday falls on a regular service day, we will not be able to service your yard that day. Service returns to the regular day the following week. Unfortunately we are unable to inform everyone personally if we are not coming out for the day. We do at times post it on our Facebook page. The previous week however, will not be credited, due to our work load being doubled when we return.
We work all year long even through the winter! What happens when it rains, snows or there is extreme weather conditions?
Yes. Dogs keep making their messes all year long, and our company continues to clean up and remove dog waste through the winter.
We’ll work in most weather, but heavy rain, snow, or a declared State of Emergency can stop us. If there is more than an inch of snow or rain, we will postpone that day’s service until the next week. If there is an extreme weather condition, reasons beyond our control, or payment issues that will prevent us from completing that week’s work, we will follow up the following week to clean your yard. Unfortunately we are unable to inform everyone personally if we are not coming out for the day. We do at times post it on our Facebook page.
The previous week however, will not be credited, due to our work load being doubled when we return. If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.
What is a Blanket Cleaning? Is there an extra charge for the first time?
For our initial Blanket Cleaning, we’ll clean your yard from top to bottom, then deodorize the areas and remove the waste from the premises. This is generally done if the yard has not been cleaned before.
Our Blanket cleanings generally range between $45-$100 with your prior approval. The deodorizer spray is a one time only service with the blanket cleaning. It is NOT a weekly or a monthly service unless you authorize for this extra service.
What type of equipment do you use? What do you do with the waste?
For our residential clients, we have a scooper made to hold large quantities of waste. Once we pick up the waste, we double-bag it and place it in your trash receptacle. For a small additional fee, we can remove the waste from your premises. For your protection as well as ours, we clean and disinfect our equipment and work boots after each service. This ensures that we don’t bring or take any parasites or pathogens with us.
Is the Deodorizer / Disinfectant safe for my children / pets?
We use non-toxic and all-natural products to disinfect and deodorize your lawn. Plus, the products are not only safe! They have also received rave reviews about the refreshing scent and amount of pesky bug reduction!
Do you only offer dog services?
Our primary focus is geared towards dogs; however, we service other pets as well. We offer pet sitting and waste removal services for all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses, geese, reptiles, etc.)
What are my responsibilities to maintain service?
To better service you, please be mindful of the following:
- Yards and pens must be accessible.
- Grass and leaves should be kept to a minimum to locate the waste.
- Aggressive dogs must be restrained/left indoors on scheduled cleaning days.
- Payments must be made in a timely manner, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Please direct all questions, problems, concerns, or changes in service directly to the office.
- Yards and pens must be accessible. If we are unable to excess any yard, we will return and service it the following scheduled week, you will still be charged for that visit. If we are on location and we are asked to come back to service a yard at another time that day or another day, you will be charged another service fee.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may also provide us with a key or a combination. Please note, if your gate is locked then your service charge will still be applied.
Can you work with my dog in the yard?
Yes, we can work with your dog in the yard. However, if your dog is not good with strangers, we ask that you restrain or confine the dog for the protection of your pet and our employees. If your dog prevents us from completing our job, then your service charge will still be applied.
